Installation Instructions

1. Create a temporary directory and save the jampatch.exe file there.
   
2. Execute the jampatch.exe file. Double-click the filename in the Windows NT Explorer (Windows NT). Or, from the Start menu, choose Run, browse to the directory where you saved the file and run the executable:
   jampatch.exe
   
3. Continue installation for Windows NT 4.0 or 3.51 as appropriate.

   Windows NT 4.0 Installation

   1. Choose Multimedia (Control Panel).
   2. Select the Devices tab.
   3. Choose Add.
   4. Select Updated or Unlisted Drivers and choose OK.
   5. Select Browse.
   6. In the Directories box, go to the temporary directory where you saved the drivers.
   7. Choose OK.
   8. In the Add Unlisted or Updated Driver dialog box, select Altera ByteBlaster.
   9. Choose OK.
   10. Restart your PC for your changes to take effect.

   Windows NT 3.51 Installation

   1. Choose Drivers (Control Panel).
   2. Choose Add.
   3. Select Updated or Unlisted Drivers and choose OK.
   4. Select Browse.
   5. In the Directories box, go to the temporary directory where you saved the drivers.
   6. Choose OK.
   7. In the Add Unlisted or Updated Driver dialog box, select Altera ByteBlaster.
   8. Choose OK.
   9. Restart your PC for your changes to take effect.
